Our Children

Our children are affectionately called "unique kids" a phrase that readily applies to all children. Infants, children, youth and young adults with neuro-developmental disabilities have experienced an injury in utero or after birth, or their disability may be the result of genetics.
Neuro-developmental disabilities include but are not limited to the following (for more details access the menu to the right of the screen): autism, asperger's syndrome, attention deficit disorder, cerebral palsy, dyslexia, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, communication disorders, learning disabilities, intellectual impairments and combinations.
What are neuro-developmental disabilities?
Below are links to descriptions of various neuro-developmental disabilities. The list is not exhaustive, but cites many of the disabilities that are common in our community.
